In my life, I have always longed to roam,
To venture far from hearth and home.

My friends used to travel, joy unfurled,
While in envy, I watched their world.

But then, within me burned a flame,
As if something had happened to my brain

I rebelled against conservative ties,
And sought my own, the clear blue skies.

With trepidation, I packed my bag,
Bid farewell to walls that seemed to sag.

Then I embarked upon a journey new,
With companions beside, the chosen few.

We laughed and sang, and danced till dawn,
A tapestry of voices, united and drawn.

The destinations unfolded, vast and grand,
In every corner, beauty fanned.

From sun-kissed shores to mountain-top,
My emotions soared, they just could not stop.

I tasted freedom, wild and free.
I had never imagined a new world I would see

The shackles shattered, chains released,
A soul unburdened, finally at peace.

In the hold of memory etches every moment
Every second I am thankful for the time I had spent

And in that memorable journey, I did find,
A newfound strength, a different mind.

So, let me tell you, dear reader mine,
If ever you feel yourself confined,

Break free from walls that hold you tight,
Embrace the world, embrace the light.

For in rebellion, there lies a key,
Unlocking doors, setting spirits free.

And as I reminisce about that trip divine,
I’m grateful for the first time I rebelled and found a life so fine.
